The inaugural release of Welsh single malt whisky from Aber Falls Distillery has been matured in a combination of American and European oak, Spanish sherry casks, Virgin oak and orange wine casks, creating a complex character. The palate offers notes of tropical fruit, sweet hay, freshly cut grass, dark chocolate, honey, cream and vanilla that linger in the finish.
Nose: Fresh orange peel and juicy mango, with a little hint of grassy meadows underneath.
Palate: Golden syrup cake, digestive biscuit, more tropical fruit notes, and subtle peppery touches.
Finish: A smidge of dark chocolate sticks around.
