Glencadam Distillery opened in 1825 and since then little has changed.
Batch 3 of Glencadam's limited-edition 13-year-old single malt offers malty, floral aromas with hint summer fruits and subtle vanilla. The palate offers refined notes of ripe berries, peaches and apple, alongside sweet cream and oak spice that linger into the finish.
Creamy and inviting with aromas of bread and butter pudding, sugared almond and tangy marmalade
Rich and oily with layers of creamy panna cotta, lotus biscuits and lemon peel and nutmeg spices
Warming and nutty with notes of almond fingers, cocoa powder and hints of ground coffee
Whisky Resource Note:
It is not clear if this 13 Year Old Small Batch is the same as the 13 Reawakening special release, however there are differences on the label. The Glencadam website only list the Reawakening with no mention of a batch release.
