Loch Lomond 22 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

The Open Course Collection 2022 is crafted to hero all of the courses, from the 1st ever at Prestwick in 1860 throughout to the 150th in the home of golf, St Andrews. This 22 year old single malt is aged in American Oak casks and finished in the finest Haut-Medoc Claret Barriques. 

Crafted to hero all of the courses, from the 1st ever at Prestwick in 1860, through to the 150th at St Andrews in 2022. The Open Course Collection 2022 Single Malt crafted using a combination of whisky from our unique straight neck stills and more traditional swan neck stills.Expect an elegant palate with notes of of stewed apple, pear and black cherry with vanilla and dark chocolate.

This 22 year old single malt was distilled just before the turn of the millennium, aged in American Oak Casks, before being finishing in the finest Haut-Medoc Claret Barriques, which have been carefully maintained by our inhouse coopers, then bottled at 48.2% cask strength. 

Nose

Oak spice, clove and star anise, berry fruit of redcurrant, raspberry and honey.

Palate

Apple, pear and black cherry with vanilla and dark chocolate.

Finish

Warming ginger spice and wood smoke finish.
