This Octomore 10.2 edition spent the first four years of its life in fresh bourbon barrels, before being moved into incredibly rare Sauternes casks.
Our tenth series explores a different realm of 'softer smoke' and invites you to dismiss the numbers and forget everything you know. Complex, layered and endlessly alluring.
Building on the structural brilliance of our super heavily peated spirit, this Octomore 10.2 edition amplifies the marriage of bourbon barrels with Sauternes casks.
The reputable chateau who originally managed these casks had filled them three times over with French sweet wine, allowing the oak to mellow and therefore temper its influence in the subsequent spirit. The combination of the softer smoke and oak brings a beautiful balance, complemented with tropical fruit notes.
