From whisky to beer to whisky, using our skills as farmers, brewers and distillers.
A long and careful process created this Filey Bay Special Release. Uniquely one-of-a-kind, we barrel-aged Wold Top Brewery’s award-winning Marmalade Porter in ex-Filey Bay whisky casks to create Rip Curl Barrel Aged beer… and then we used those ex-Porter Casks to mature our whisky.
The result? A fruity, rich and malty single malt, from field to bottle, and brewery to distillery.

For a number of different reasons, we’re rethinking our approach to secondary packaging. If you feel like the tube is integral to your purchase, please do choose Filey Bay Porter Cask with a tube! However, if you’ll probably be recycling or throwing the tube away in the near future, then we’d encourage you to think twice, and go for the Filey Bay Porter Cask bottle only.
