Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the much underrated Glencadam Distillery here, distilled in 2008 and matured for 15 years with a finish in Madeira wine casks. It was bottled at 46% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose Candied orange peels, earthy oak, raisin and prune, chocolate peanuts, and cooking spices.
Palate Orange blossom, allspice, vanilla, apple pie, and blackberries.
Finish Lemon peels, caramel, and a hint of sugared almond.
