Glengoyne Cask Strength Batch 4 Single Malt Whisky

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Soft oaky notes, custard notes, strawberries, black pepper, digestive biscuits and a sherbet fizz.

Palate – Spicy, gooseberry notes, Demerara sugar, rosehip syrup and a full, long finish.

From Master of Malt

This is the fourth batch of Glengoyne Cask Strength! Bottled at 58.8% ABV, this is particularly intense, though a little bit less Sherried than previous batches. It's still incredibly enjoyable, bursting with fresh fruit and honey'd malt.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Brown bread, summer berry tart with thick, crumbly pastry, a touch of floral malt.

Palate: Pear, apple and white peach. A touch of tart berries. Thyme honey. Peppery oak.

Finish: Lasting Sherry cask influence - particularly dark chocolate bitterness.
