Intro from Master of Malt
A peated whisky here from Tobermory which is only available from the distillery or from us. It was distilled in 2010, spent ten years ageing before spending a year in virgin oak casks. It was bottled at 55.8% ABV with only 1017 available from the distillery or from us (and nowhere else).
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose Smoked fudge, wood smoke and cough sweets.
Palate Woody and smoky, bonfires and wood chips with vanilla essence, seaweed and ocean spray.
Finish Lingering wood smoke, lemon peel and vanilla.
Whisky Resource Note
This bottle was recently announced as an exclusive by Master of Malt, however, it has been available direct from Tobermory for sometime.
The Master of Malt description references 55.8% ABV as the strength, this is incorrect, however they do have the correct strength listed elsewhere on the product listing.
