An increasingly hard to find bottling, as it was discontinued a while back, from the closed and now redeveloped Rosebank distillery. A victim of the early 1990s downturn in the whisky market and producer of some beautiful whiskies.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Cereal notes abound with hints of juicy barley sweetness. Crisp wood smoke cutting the cold air with herbal freshness. Winter spice, cut limes, mandarins and potpourri.
Palate: Tangerines, sugared peels, winter spice, Parfait Armour, Cointreau with notes of tannic oak.
Finish: Long and punchy with good smoke and spicy fruit.
