The homepage was referencing a previous release of the 8 Year Old Cask Strength.
However the official Kilkerran Twitter account @Kilkerran2004 was providing some information
From Master of Malt
A limited annual release of cask strength Kilkerran single malt from Campbeltown's Glengyle distillery! This one spent eight years maturing in a bourbon cask before being bottled at a robust 55.8% ABV, without added colour or chill filtration.

A small-batch eight-year-old Kilkerran single malt, released in early 2023, that was matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks - the first bourbon-cask release of its kind since 2018. Aromas of elderflower, heather, vanilla and custard creams mingle with foamy banana sweets on the nose, complemented by notes of cocoa nibs, Iberico ham and earthy peat smoke, pineapple, coconut and digestive biscuits throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
