This is the inaugural rye whisky release from Bristol’s Circumstance distillery, which is made with 51% malted rye and 49% malted barley, and fermented with mead yeast. It was matured in a combination of virgin oak, ex-bourbon and ex-oloroso casks for over three years (37 Months), imparting spicy and floral notes of cinnamon, orchard fruit and honey blossom on the palate.
