Grown, brewed and distilled by us. Filey Bay IPA Finish explores the possibilities of our unique position as farmers, brewers and distillers. Alongside Wold Top Brewery, our sister company, we’ve finished our light and fruity single malt in ex-IPA casks, creating something completely unusual, distinctive and absolutely delicious. Enjoy alongside Barrel Wave 2023, the barrel aged beer that conditioned the casks.
Field to brewery to bottle
This whisky and beer is 100% field to bottle in every sense; bringing our farm, brewery and distillery together in one whisky. The result of forward-thinking, progressive maturation techniques and the passion we have at every stage of what we do.

The Spirit of Yorkshire’s sibling company is World Top Brewery, so it was only a matter of time before Filey Bay’s spirit was finished in ex-IPA casks. This is the second batch of this range and brings aromas of Granny Smith apples, pear drops and oak spice on the nose, alongside biscuit, lemon peel and malt.

Nose Cooked apple, malty biscuity, bright tropical fruit, and oak spice.
Palate Pear drops, aromatic spice, foam banana sweets, roasted almonds, and buttered sourdough.
Finish Floral honey and grassy barley linger with green apple sweetness.
